Ria Said is a Nigerian filmmaker, multidisciplanary artist and creative director, who has collaborated with musicians like 808vic, ANENO, ICTOOICY and ForevaTired.
Said's films often blend documentary, fiction and surrealism, focusing on themes of loss, identity, love and yearning. Her most recent short film, "Selcan," won the Best Artist Film award at Southampton Film Week and was officially selected for both the Women Of The Lens Festival and Her International Film Festival. Her work has also been featured in LyricalLemonade, LucidLemons, and MotherFunk.
