Based in London, Ria is a Nigerian filmmaker and multidisciplanary artist creating short films, music videos as well as creative directing for several musicians including 808vic, ICTOOICY and ForevaTired. Though their work is dieverse and pulls from multiple references, themes of identity, loss and longing often reoccur.
Their recent short film 'Selcan ' has won the Southampton Film Week award for Best Artist Film, whilst also being chosen as official selctions at both Women Of The Lens Festival and Her International Film Festival. they have also had their work featured in LucidLemons and MotherFunk.
